As we remember and honor those who perished when Colgan Flight 3407 crashed outside Buffalo six years ago, it is our duty to apply the lessons learned from this tragedy. AFA continues to work to fight fatigue, this year through legislative action.
We are calling for a 10 hour minimum rest for Flight Attendants to equalize the rest provisions for pilots and Flight Attendants. We owe this to the crew of Colgan 3407, and we owe it to ourselves as aviation’s first responders as we maintain the safest aviation system in the world.
