GoJet Airlines Flight Attendants File for Mediation

GoJet Flight Attendants fly under Delta Connection and United Express

Washington, D.C. (April 6, 2017) — GoJet Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), today filed for mediation with the National Mediation Board (NMB) to press forward on a first contract after management stall tactics stymied talks. GoJet is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Trans States Holdings and serves as a Delta Connection and United Express carrier.

“GoJet Flight Attendants deserve protections in a legally binding contract. With the assistance of the NMB, we look forward to securing a contract that values GoJet Flight Attendants’ role as first responders in the cabin,” said Emily Stiegemeyer, AFA GoJet President.

AFA has requested mediation in order secure a new agreement for the nearly 500 GoJet Flight Attendants. GoJet Flight Attendants voted to join AFA in May 2016. Filing for federal mediation with the NMB is the next step in negotiations under the Railway Labor Act.
