United Flight Attendants and their families have a special opportunity to tour the Pentagon in honor of the crew members on United Flight 93 and United Flight 175. On September 9th and 10th, 2014, the Pentagon will host 200 United Airlines employees and family members.
Tours, led by Department of Defense Services Elite Honor Guard, will be held both days at 9 AM, 10 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM and 2 PM. To register for a tour or for more information, contact Nikie.Woodson@United.com. Requests must be received no later than September 4 and will be approved on a first come, first served basis.
Please join us as we carry the torch of remembrance in honor of our September 11th heroes in the halls of the Pentagon. We will proudly represent the professionalism, bravery and heroism, so courageously embodied by our flying partners on that day.
In our commitment to Never Forget, we continue to press forward on recognition of our work as first responders and the last line of defense in aviation security. This fall, we will launch a coordinated legislative campaign called Never Forget to ensure aviation security policies are maintained and implemented as recommended by the 9/11 Commission.
The Pentagon event is specifically open to United Airlines employees, but all AFA members stand together to Never Forget and ensure that the darkest day for our industry and country is not repeated.
