Aeroflot Flight 1492 Lives Lost and Lives Saved

May 5, 2019 - We are saddened to learn the number killed due to the Aeroflot Flight 1492 engine fire in Moscow has increased to 41, including a Flight Attendant. Passengers from among the 33 survivors are praising the efforts of the four crew members who evacuated the burning plane.

“One of the surviving passengers, Dmitry Khlebushkin, says that he is very grateful to the flight attendants. ‘Only thanks to the flight attendants, I survived,’ he told reporters.”
