Flight Attendant Union Congratulates Transportation Security Administrator David Pekoske
Washington, D.C. (August 10, 2017) — The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, AFL-CIO (AFA) congratulates David Pekoske on his swearing in as administrator of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). AFA International President Sara Nelson today issued the following statement:
“We congratulate Administrator David Pekoske on his swearing in as administrator of the Transportation Security Administration. Flight Attendants rely on the professional, coordinated work of TSA to keep air travel safe and secure. We look forward to working with Administrator Pekoske on issues including self-defense training for Flight Attendants and combatting threats to aviation security. AFA will continue offer our expertise from the aircraft cabin to promote aviation security as Administrator Pekoske leads TSA."
