AFA Members Attend Critical Incident Training
February 21, 2025 - On February 4th and 5th, AFA EAP Committee members attended the Advanced Critical Incident Training. This is an annual union training that provides AFA EAP Committee members with the knowledge, skills, and procedures to respond to critical incidents on and off the aircraft. It is clearly critically important skills and resources for our union and we applaud those who step forward to serve.
Committee members practiced individual and group interventions for a range of mock scenarios including major airline accidents, public health exposures, passenger death on board, refugee airlifts, and crime victimization. Our sister union, APFA, participated in this AFA training with their EAP Committee members too.
