AFA New Leader Training in Washington, D.C.
(June 14, 2019) - Newly elected AFA leaders came to Washington, D.C. this week for initial training before they take office on July 1, 2019.
This week consisted of an overview of AFA structure and introduction of AFA Departments and professional staff including Legal, Collective Bargaining, AFA EAP/Professional Standards, Air Safety, Health & Security, Government Affairs, Membership, Accounting and Communications. Training continues in August with leadership development classes and review of initial weeks in office.
