Federal Workers to Protest White House Assault on Employees’ Collective Bargaining Rights

September 20, 2019 — The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and other federal worker unions will protest against the administration’s efforts to undermine federal employee unions and prevent workers from blowing the whistle on mismanagement and other workplace abuses. The White House is looking to fast-track implementation of three anti-worker executive orders that would prevent the union from representing employees at the worksite, filing employee grievances against wrongful terminations and other adverse actions, and bargaining over a range of issues that benefit workers and the public.

Stand with our sisters and brothers in the federal government! If you live in the Washington, D.C. area or here on layover, come to the rally:

When: 12 Noon, Tuesday, Sept. 24

Where: Capitol Hill Demonstration Area 9 (across the street from the U.S. Supreme Court, near intersection of Constitution Avenue and First Street NE, Washington, D.C.)
