Donate to Help Our Flying Partners Affected by Hurricane Helene
October 4, 2024 –Hurricane Helene slammed into the Big Bend region of the Florida Gulf Coast on September 26th, with the massive storm causing devastation throughout the Southeast and far inland.
Over 200 people have been confirmed dead in the week following the storm, with hundreds more still missing. Airport operations, electricity, water supplies and other essential services all felt the impact of the deadly storm. Bridges, roads, and other important infrastructure were damaged or destroyed, leaving millions without power and isolated from relief efforts.
There are AFA members who need our help. One action you can take immediately to help is to donate to the fund and share the donation link with family and friends. We can’t stop disasters from happening, but we can come together in our union to take care of each other.
