Frontier and PSA Strike Authorization Votes open
August 25, 2024 — Strike Authorization Votes started this week for Frontier and PSA Flight Attendants. They are the second and third AFA Flight Attendants this month to hold a strike authorization vote.
Management fundamentally changed how Frontier Flight Attendants work and earn a living without negotiating the impact of their decision. This strike vote is necessary to bring urgency to the problem and address the harm Flight Attendants are already experiencing. There’s no time to wait to address the impact of their decisions on our lives.
PSA Flight Attendants have been in negotiations for 18 months. Last year, AFA PSA proposed a 35% wage increase to compensate for cost of living increases. Management stalled for months and proposed a paltry 3% increase. PSA Flight Attendants are worth much more and deserve a fair contract now.
