Happy 79th Birthday, AFA!
August 25, 2024 — On August 22, 1945, our union was founded by eight women at United Airlines!
For 79 years Flight Attendants have joined together as AFA to fight for fair compensation, job security, and improved quality of life through organizing, bargaining, and political action. We serve as the leading voice for a safe, healthy, and secure cabin.
