Holiday Travel Officially Begins
November 19, 2021 – The holiday travel season has officially begun and TSA expects nearly 20 million passengers during this year’s Thanksgiving holiday travel, from today, November 19 through Sunday, November 28.
“Aviation is about bringing people together,” said AFA President Sara Nelson. “Flight Attendants are first responders, charged with the safety, health, and security of the passengers and other crewmembers in our care. Flying has changed since the start of the pandemic. We expect that many of the passengers this Thanksgiving will be first time pandemic flyers. Be prepared and remember that weather is always a factor in potential disruptions to aviation.”
