House and Senate Lawmakers Reintroduce the PRO Act
March 7, 2025 - Our existing labor laws are out-of-date and inadequate to combat corporate greed. AFA applauds Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Representatives Bobby Scott (D-VA) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) for reintroducing the PRO Act this week.
“Corporations, Wall Street, and the 1% have rigged the scales against workers. The PRO Act would restore our full right to strike, crucial to collective bargaining and reaching agreements quicker, holds corporations and individuals accountable for interfering with a worker’s free right to join a union and defines all work as work—ending misclassification of workers.”
We urge Congress to act on this legislation quickly.
