DOT PERMIT BRINGS ‘FOC OF THE AIR’ CLOSER TO REALITY

Flag-of-convenience airlines took a step closer to becoming a reality after the U.S. Department of Transportation approved on December 3 a foreign air carrier permit for Norwegian Air International (NAI) to fly one of its subsidiary airlines into American airports.

In November 1963, President John F. Kennedy, published his Thanksgiving Proclamation 17 days before our nation mourned the loss of our President. In it he wrote:

Our hard work over the last several years has stopped the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Congressional leaders and the Obama administration have said publicly that there is no path forward for the TPP in the lame duck session of Congress: they simply do not have the votes.

Elections are always hard but they are just one day and every day is a day we can make a difference.
