May 3, 2024—CODE RED: Summer travel is coming and corporate greed is in full swing. 

We’re kicking off this red hot Solidarity Summer with a Worldwide Flight Attendant Day of Action to demand our contracts. Airline executives have had no problem dolling out massive raises for themselves. We’re coming for our share of the profits we create.

AFA Alaska-Hawaiian Merger Meeting - April 26

May 1, 2024— On April 26, 2024, our International President convened a virtual meeting with the Alaska and Hawaiian Master Executive Councils (MEC). This includes the directly elected Local Council Presidents and MEC officers at each airline. Our AFA professionals from Legal, Collective Bargaining, Government Affairs, and Communications were in attendance to support the elected Flight Attendant representatives.

Management at Delta, the most profitable airline, announces 5% pay increase in attempt to stop our union organizing

April 26, 2024 - Delta earned $4.6 billion last year, more than United, American, Southwest, and Alaska airlines combined. With all those profits, it seems like they should have plenty of money to pay their employees, including Endeavor Flight Attendants – you know, the ones who made these sky-high profits possible – what they’re owed, right? Wrong.

AFA responds to Frontier management’s bogus claims

April 26, 2024 - Frontier management recently announced huge changes to their business model that negatively impact Flight Attendants’ ability to earn a living. Management’s plans essentially eliminate crew overnights, making it harder for Flight Attendants to earn a fair paycheck. Under this “out and back” model, Frontier Flight Attendants must deal with increased out-of-pocket costs and time at work without additional pay.
