"Air travel is safe because everyone follows a strict set of rules, based on the spirit that we’re all in this together. There’s a reason that there are strict penalties and fines for failing to comply with crewmember instructions. If necessary, those will be enforced to keep all passengers in our care safe. The incidents on flights to the DC area yesterday threatened the safety and security of every single person onboard, including the crew. We need to make clear to passengers that this type of behavior will not be tolerated and has consequences."
