Piedmont Flight Attendants Picket for Fair Contract at CLT
November 19, 2021 – On Thursday, AFA Piedmont Flight Attendants with APFA, CWA, North Carolina AFL-CIO, picketed outside Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) to keep the pressure on Piedmont management and American Airlines Group.
Last month, AFA Piedmont Flight Attendants voted 100% to authorize a strike. Bargaining this week failed to produce an agreement. If further talks fail to produce a TA, we will ask to be released to strike by the NMB.
“Piedmont Flight Attendants are speaking with one voice to demand management get serious about resolving our contract,” said Keturah Johnson, AFA Piedmont President.
AFA Piedmont Flight attendants have already picketed outside Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and will continue to picket until a fair contract is reached.
