AFA-CWA International President Sara Nelson Reiterates Support for President Biden and Vice President Harris
WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 12, 2024) — A statement from Association of Flight Attendants-CWA President Sara Nelson:
"President Biden and Vice President Harris have my full support.
"During an off the record conversation at the AFL-CIO Executive Council meeting earlier this week, I shared my concerns about the campaign’s overall strategic direction with the President’s campaign staff.
"Let me be perfectly clear. Joe Biden has done more for working people and the labor movement than any President since FDR. It’s time to move forward in unity and do the work to defeat fascism."
