Senate Passes COVID Relief & #ExtendPSP, Moves to Final Vote in the House
March 6, 2021—The Senate passed the American Rescue Plan! The bill will extend to our Payroll Support Program (PSP) through September 30, 2021, which keeps us connected to our jobs and healthcare. It also includes $1,400 survival checks, child tax credits, unemployment and more relief for all Americans.
We fought through the night as the Senate considered over 24 hours of amendments to ensure PSP remained completely intact. The bill now goes back to the House of Representatives for one final vote before becoming law. The vote is scheduled for Tuesday, March 9.
