Alaska Airlines Flight Attendants Begin Voting On New Agreement
Washington, DC – Alaska Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), today begin voting on a new contract that includes top-of-the-industry improvements in many categories. Voting concludes on February 14 at 3:00 pm EST or 12:00 pm PST with results announced shortly after.
Flight Attendant Union Recognizes Alaska Airlines Flight 819 Crewmembers' Professionalism
Washington, DC, January 18, 2013 – The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA) recognizes the professionalism of the Flight Attendants on Alaska Airlines flight 819 after being alerted to a suspicious person on board as fighter jets escorted the aircraft safely to Seattle. AFA represents nearly 3,000 Flight Attendants at Alaska Airlines.
