U.S.-based Cathay Pacific Flight Attendants: Always a Part of Our Union
April 17, 2020 - We are devastated. Last night, Cathay Pacific told Flight Attendants it would be permanently closing its U.S. bases (SFO, LAX, JFK) on June 20th. Cathay Flight Attendants will always have a home with AFA.
"These Flight Attendants are cherished members of our union who joined us just three years ago and achieved their first contract last year," said AFA President Sara Nelson. "Amazing, dedicated and solid people who care deeply about each other and take tremendous pride in their work."
