U.S. Borders Reopen to International Travel
November 12, 2021 – On Monday, the COVID-19 international travel restrictions ended, opening international travel to the U.S. for the first time since March 2020.
All passengers, including U.S. citizens, are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Travelers will still have to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of departure to the U.S.
International travel is essential to the stability of our jobs and the full recovery of the U.S. airline industry, but recovery is only possible if we remain focused first on safety and health. This week’s reopening is an important step forward in the recovery.
