URGENT: Tell Congress to Vote YES on H.R. 748
March 26, 2020 — We built a relief package that is centered on Flight Attendants and other aviation workers. The Senate voted 96-0 for the CARES Act. The House of Representatives is set to vote on H.R. 748 tomorrow morning. The bill, which is part of the pandemic Stimulus response, has payroll grants that will save hundreds of thousands of jobs and will keep working people connected to our healthcare - especially important during this pandemic.
This is historic. Never before has relief been packaged in a way that requires the money to go directly to the workers, directly back to the taxpayers, all of us. Executives can't touch it. It must all go to payroll for people on the frontlines.
Our jobs are on the line. Tell Congress to vote YES on H.R. 748.
