An Evening to Never Forget

Thirteen years ago we promised to never forget the events of September 11, 2001 – to honor those whose lives were lost and ensure the events would never be repeated.

The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, AFL-CIO is hosting the Washington DC Premiere Screening of The Rugby Player, about 9/11 Hero Mark Bingham and his mother Alice Hoagland, a former Flight Attendant.

Buy-Your-Tix-box.pngUtilizing footage shot by Bingham himself, this timely film provides keen insights on our most enduring national conversations on human rights, equality and dignity – along with attention to aviation security which plays such a key role in defending our freedom to promote these rights.

We are thrilled that the filmmakers, including Mark’s mom Alice Hoagland, will join us on for the private screening at the state of the art Annenberg Theater in Washington DC's Newseum on September 23, 2014. Tickets to the screening include a catered reception at 6:30 pm and guests will also have exclusive access to the Newseum's 9/11 display, if desired.

This film screening is also the launch of AFA’s campaign to bring legislative and regulatory focus on urgent aviation safety and security issues.

We made a promise. Join us for an Evening to Never Forget.
