During the summer of 2018, AFA launched the 2Hot2Cold App to collect data on extreme temperatures onboard to pressure the Department of Transportation to establish temperature standards in the aircraft cabin. We will update this page the first week of every month with new data.
As of October 31, 2019:
- More than 2,800 extreme temperature reports have been made through the app.
- 86.4% of the reports came from Flight Attendants.
- 22.8% of the reports were made during the month of August 2018.
