9/11 Memorial & Museum Honors Flight Crewmembers in Conjunction with National Aviation Week

August 12, 2016 — The 9/11 Memorial & Museum will mark National Aviation Week (August 15-19, 2016) by providing free Museum access to flight crew members both active and retired. Throughout the week, the Museum will feature flight crew-themed Auditorium programming to highlight this chapter in aviation history and share these stories with Museum visitors.

Active and retired flight crewmembers are invited to visit the Museum for free during regular operating hours from August 15-19. Onsite ticketing only. Valid ID, such as company identification cards, required for active crewmembers. Retired crewmembers who don’t have identification will be asked to complete a verification form.

AFA thanks the 9/11 Memorial & Museum for their recognition of aviation's first responders. AFA will have a honor guard and lay flowers at the memorial on September 11th.
