Air Wisconsin Flight Attendants Leaflet, Hit the Picket Line for a New Contract

October 18, 2019 — Air Wisconsin Flight Attendants were out in full force this week at MKE, ORD, and IAD making sure management and the flying public knew they were serious about getting a new contract.

"Flight attendants are working two and three jobs, airlines are making record, record amounts of money," said AFA Air Wisconsin MEC President Ernie Lazernick. "And it's time for them to step up and do right by the flight attendants."

AFA was also joined by labor activist and Democratic Party nominee for Wisconsin's 1st congressional district in the 2018 midterm elections, Randy “IronStache” Bryce at MKE.
Air Wisconsin Flight Attendants petitioned the National Mediation Board for a proffer of arbitration/release from mediation earlier this month, which would start the clock for a potential Flight Attendant strike 30 days later.
