Aviation Workers March for #ReliefNow

Wednesday, September 9, 2020

9:00 AM ET, Near the U.S. Capitol

RSVP Here >

We will meet near the Capitol for an event that runs approximately one hour. Plan to come in uniform a few minutes before 9 am and stay a few minutes after 10 am. RSVP is required because we need to have a briefing to go over all the Capitol rules. We will brief the night before on September 8th at 6pm ET via ZOOM - you will receive updates and access to the ZOOM briefing if you are on the RSVP list.

The September 9th aviation worker March (all unions/all workers) is a local event. The Washington, D.C. government COVID regulations require people traveling for non-essential activities to self-quarantine for 14 days from their arrival in the District. High risk states include Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin.

If you’d like to host or attend an event in your local area check our events page here:

#ReliefNow #ExtendPSP

In August, sixteen Senate Republicans joined Senate Democrats and the bipartisan House majority in support of a clean extension of the CARES Act Payroll Support Program (PSP) through March 31, 2021. But failure to act prior to the August recess of the Senate keeps our jobs and millions more in danger. It’s not enough for an overwhelming majority of Congress to support us, we need them to act! We need the Senate to get back to work to give us #ReliefNow.
