Flight Attendants Stand with SEIU Airport Workers for Good Jobs, Good Airports
April 3, 2022 - On Wednesday, March 30th, AFA Flight Attendants joined SEIU and allies across the country, from Newark to San Francisco, Washington D.C., to Chicago, Atlanta to Minnesota, to stand with thousands of contracted airport workers to demand the CEOs of each of the nation’s largest airlines to sign their GOOD AIRPORTS PLEDGE.
Every worker deserves a living wage, affordable healthcare and a voice on the job no matter your race, background or role.
This campaign dovetails completely with our Bridge the Gap campaign and all of our efforts to lift the standards of our careers. The nation’s contracted airport workers — who keep our hubs safe, clean and running smoothly from the curb to the cabin — demand accountability from massive airline corporations to fix what’s broken and launch a new effort to win good
jobs and good airports.
