Frontier Flight Attendants Put Management on Notice After Drastic Business Model Change
April 5, 2024 - Frontier management recently announced huge changes to their business model that negatively impact Flight Attendants’ ability to earn a living. This week, AFA notified Frontier management of a Railway Labor Act major dispute to bring management to the table to negotiate these changes.
Management’s plans essentially eliminate crew overnights, making it harder for Flight Attendants to earn a fair paycheck. Under this turn-only plan, Frontier Flight Attendants must deal with increased out-of-pocket costs and time at work without additional pay.

For Nick, an 8 year Frontier Flight Attendant, turn trips have steadily increased in his base this year with drastic economic consequences. In February, he reported to the airport seven times for 112 hours. This month, he’ll have to report 15 times to earn just 93 hours.
Frontier management hopes this new plan will save them $200 million and push their profit margins into the double digits. All those “savings” should mean there’s plenty of money to fairly compensate AFA Frontier Flight Attendants — and choosing not to is corporate greed. That won’t fly!
