Hawaiian Airlines Flight Attendants to Picket Thursday, July 25th at LAX

LOS ANGELES (July 23, 2019) – On Thursday, July 25th, Hawaiian Airlines flight attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), will demonstrate at Los Angeles International Airport to protest their protracted negotiations with Hawaiian Airlines management for a new contract.

Hawaiian Airline Flight Attendants’ pay has fallen in comparison with the rest of the industry while the cost of living and medical expenses continue to rise. After twenty years of calm labor relations, Hawaiian Airlines flight attendants have taken their fight for a fair contract public.

Thursday's demonstration comes on the heels of a protest that happened at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu last month, where nearly 400 flight attendants turned out.

The Association of Flight Attendants represents 50,000 flight attendants across twenty airlines including those at Hawaiian Airlines.
