John Morse: One of Our Own Running for Congress
February 16, 2024 - Former AFA Associate General Counsel John Morse is running for Congress in MD-3. He’s the only labor candidate in the race and we’re ready to take his advocacy to the center of policy and lawmaking in Congress!
John grew up with labor, watching his Mom battle United management as a representative for ALPA in almost every position in the union. But it also gave him a front seat to the work of AFA. After spending time working on the Hill and going to law school, John decided he wanted to work for our fighting union and advocate for the rights of women, LGBTQ+ workers, and the all of the diverse ranks of AFA. He's done a tremendous job, helping to lead us to several legal wins for Flight Attendants including FMLA and other issues - as well as jumping in to help whenever our union needed him.
