Teamsters Reach Tentative Agreement at UPS
July 28, 2023 - The Teamsters and UPS agreed on a tentative agreement on Tuesday. The five-year contract deal would offers raises for all UPS employees and installation of air-conditioning units in new delivery vans. Workers will vote on the TA starting August 3rd.
“The strike is our tactic, solidarity is our power,” said AFA President Sara Nelson. “The right to strike is about encouraging agreement. It is fundamental to collective bargaining and the only countervailing force to capitalism that is otherwise unchecked. This is how we have an economy that works for all!
