United Flight Attendants to Picket Hometown Airport February 18
Washington, D.C. (February 16, 2016) — United Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, will picket at Chicago O’Hare International Airport February 18 in support of concluding contract negotiations.
"We are united in our commitment to achieve a new standard for our careers as we share in the profits we help create," said AFA International President Sara Nelson. "It’s time to complete this merger. Passengers flying United suffer under the inefficiency of its fractured three-part operation. It’s time to move forward as one with a joint contract for Flight Attendants.”
AFA represents the 24,000 Flight Attendants at United Airlines. The protest will include Flight Attendants from all U.S. airlines, the Air Line Pilots Association, passengers and many other unions.
AFA invites media to RSVP and come out to Chicago. Visit OurContract.org for more information.
