Women’s History Month: Honoring Our Union’s Founders
March 1, 2024 - To mark Women’s History Month, we honor the founding Flight Attendants of our Union.
These women provided the foundation for AFA to fight against discrimination on the job including age, weight, race, marital status, having children, for men to have the same rights as women.
Today, we’re fighting to stamp out the legacy sexism that traditionally devalued our jobs and must be replaced with the true value of our work. Like every other worker around the world we need to go to work to live, not just live to go to work.
