August 2, 2017 — To keep the momentum going for 10 hours irreducible rest and protecting good U.S. aviation jobs, AFA is calling for an on-line Day of Action on August 10 (our minimum rest needs to move from 8-10).

AFA Pittsburgh Town Hall

The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA) is coming to Pittsburgh for the 76th CWA Convention. AFA will host a Town Hall for all Flight Attendants in the Pittsburgh area prior to the CWA Convention. AFA Members from Air Wisconsin, Compass, Envoy, Frontier, PSA, Spirit, Omni, and United Airlines call Pittsburgh home, along with AFA lifetime members commuting from Pittsburgh.

The House FAA Reauthorization Bill (H.R. 2997) protects our jobs from outsourcing and sets 10 hours non-reducible minimum rest for Flight Attendants. We need all hands on deck right now if we are going to keep this issue alive and make it law.  But it won't happen without your action.

Support the AFA Disaster Relief Fund through Amazon Smile

NOTE: According to a new report from Bloomberg, employees at the Amazon fulfillment center in Shakopee, Minnesota, plan to strike for six hours on July 15, the first day of Amazon's annual Prime Day sales bonanza. This year sales are scheduled to stretch over a 48-hour period. During this time, we will be removing the support of, and link to, the Amazon website and their products.
