Record Heat Wave This Weekend: Report Hot Cabins

(July 19, 2019) - A record heat wave is hitting the central and eastern U.S. this weekend. In the summer, cabins can get too hot. If it’s too hot, crew and passengers can experience symptoms ranging from the mild (fatigue, dizziness) to moderate (heat exhaustion) to catastrophic (heat stroke).

Cathay Pacific Flight Attendants have a TA 

(July 19, 2019) - Cathay Pacific Flight Attendants based in the U.S. voted 97% to join AFA. Since then, they have been working hard to achieve a contract that would provide several improvements including retirement security which was the key issue during their organizing drive.

PSA Airlines Flight Attendants Ratify New Contract

(July 19, 2019) - PSA Flight Attendants voted to ratify a new contract this week covering over 1,300 PSA Flight Attendants. In addition to immediate pay raises, the new contract includes increased vacation, improved work rules and increased scheduling flexibility.
