9/11 Memorial & Museum Honors Flight Crewmembers in Conjunction with National Aviation Week
August 12, 2016 — The 9/11 Memorial & Museum will mark National Aviation Week (August 15-19, 2016) by providing free Museum access to flight crew members both active and retired. Throughout the week, the Museum will feature flight crew-themed Auditorium programming to highlight this chapter in aviation history and share these stories with Museum visitors.

Congress to Vote on FAA Extension
July 11, 2016 — Congress has agreed on an FAA extension, which will keep the agency funded and running through September 30, 2017. This is a “bridge” FAA Reauthorization Bill, in addition to funding the agency, there are several new safety and policy issues in this extension. A vote on the extension is expected early next week and is expected to pass.
