Today never should have happened. You have served our country faithfully during this pandemic and carefully done your job.

We have until MIDNIGHT tonight before the Payroll Support Program (PSP) expires. We pushed Congress to talks over a full relief bill, including our PSP Extension. Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin are set to continue talks on an overall relief deal this morning.

September 30, 2020 — Congress has until MIDNIGHT tonight to save our jobs! Inaction is not an option and there is growing support for a full relief bill. Everyone “supports us.” True support for the American worker comes in the form of a relief bill. We need every Flight Attendant, regardless of status, to commit to Take Action ALL DAY today.

Aviation security is personal to us. No matter the uniform we wear, the routes we fly, or the years we have worn our wings we will always remember the events of September 11th, lift up heroes and do everything in our power to ensure the events are never repeated.

“Workers First” should replace “profits first” as the motto of business

August 28, 2020— Milton Friedman absolved corporate leaders of social responsibility in his 1970 New York Times essay, perversely titled The Social Responsibility of Business is to Increase its Profits. It worked, and for decades the wealth created by American workers has been plundered for the benefit of the corporate elite. Visigoths and pirates would have been embarrassed at the scale of the transfer of wealth. As a result, wealth inequality in America today rivals that of third world countries.
