Hurricane Irma: Flight Attendants Stay Safe
September 5, 2017 — Flight Attendants: The National Hurricane Center is predicting Irma is a potentially catastrophic category 5 hurricane and will bring life-threatening wind, storm surge, and rainfall hazards to portions of the northeastern Leeward Islands beginning later today and the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico beginning tomorrow, September 6th.

Solidarity Alert! AFA Supports Flight Attendants at British Airways Mixed Fleet
August 15, 2017 — British Airways “mixed fleet” cabin crew, who are members of the ITF affiliated Unite the Union (UK), began their latest phase of strike action against the company in July. Over 3,200 workers, who operate long and short haul flights out of London Heathrow Airport, are fighting poverty pay and the discipline against about 1,400 colleagues involved in previous collective bargaining action.
